Whitstable, is a small English town situated on the North Kent coast of England, approximately
seven miles from the cathedral city of Canterbury. The name Whitstable is derived from the
ancient British word "whit" meaning salt, and "stable" meaning market place. The Harbour
was developed in 1832 to serve the worlds first steam-powered passenger and freight
railway service, built in 1830 by Robert Stephenson. Renowned for its Oyster and Fishing
